Volunteering – a central role in our work

Our Leadership & Participation (L&P) groups are committed to the empowerment and integration of refugees. In designated groups, participants take part in workshops on topics such as mental health, anti-racism, empowerment and project planning. These groups organize social projects, promote both tolerance and equality and motivate other new arrivals to volunteer and act as a bridge between different groups of refugees and the host society. Their objective is to promote intercultural exchange and minimize the marginalization of individual communities.

Many of our volunteers are successful graduates with a refugee background from previous programs. They play a central role in our work and are specifically assigned to current projects. They are not only professionally qualified, but can also provide peer support based on their experience.
