Who we are
Our History
Since 2016, we have been supporting people and communities in need. While the projects initially focused on promoting the mental health and social integration of refugees within Germany, we were also quickly able to put our special expertise in this area to good use abroad. In Germany, we were already able to implement projects in Berlin, Hesse, Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. Outside Germany, we have already been effectively supporting people in need in Moldova, Romania, Poland, Israel, Greece, and Spain as well as in Ukraine in coping with their respective emergency situations.

Our Team
The employees of OlamAid – a mosaic of specialists (psychologists, social workers, art therapists and educators) with different cultural backgrounds – contribute with their international experience, language skills and intercultural approaches to promoting long-term well-being in the population. OlamAid employs successful graduates with a refugee background from previous programs and thus lives the idea of diversity, integration and participation.
